Heritage Harbour is a premier master-planned community bordering the Manatee River. As a prime, river-front location, the development is nestled on more than 2,500 acres, including 200 acres of island within the Manatee River.  It is located 2 miles east of Interstate 75 on State Road 64.

The development is designed to suit various homeowner needs and requirements, and consists of 8 individual communities with homes ranging from condominiums, townhouses, and single-family homes.


Paved hiking trails, water-based "blueways" and bike lanes lace the landscape, and native wildlife can be found roaming in both common areas and fenced-off refuge areas.  Several overlooks and other contemplative places to experience the community´s scenic and natural views are part of the trail system.  Wetlands dot the landscape to protect and improve water quality through elaborate filtration processes, as well as provide fish and wildlife habitats. 

Heritage Harbour´s Central Park provides outdoor recreation facilities for the community´s residents.  The park is a 36-acre site that includes 1.4 miles walking/jogging paths around Beacon Lake, 4 baseball fields, soccer fields, and a fishing pier.

The Stoneybrook Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 72, championship golf course - designed by Arthur Hills (recognized as one of the world´s top designers).   Located on the southern half of the development, the 7,000 yard, par 72 course plays through a landscape highlighted by mature, wooded, wetland preserves.

The Stoneybrook Clubhouse welcomes residents to a well-stocked Pro Shop and restaurant featuring American cuisine and oversized tables for dining comfort.  The clubhouse also features a cozy sitting area with a stone fireplace.

The development recently broke ground on the River Strand Golf Course at Heritage Harbour.  Planned as a 27-hole, championship course, and also designed by Arthur Hills, River Strand will sit on approximately 1,000 acres located on the north half of the Heritage Harbour property.  The course will include an aqua range and short-game practice facility featuring chipping, pitching, putting and sand play areas. Other amenities, such as a tennis and golf pro shop, fitness center and an upscale clubhouse with banquet facilities, will be adjacent to course.

A mix of multifamily and single-family homes will surround the private course, which is expected to be completed in 2006.

Nearly 95 percent of the wetland habitats remain in the natural state, and the community employs a comprehensive strategy for protecting these wetland areas, creating new wetlands, introducing new storm water ponds, and creating new wildlife habitats.

Located two miles east of I-75 on State Road 64 is Greenfield Plantation, with four neighborhoods surrounding an 18-hole golf public course. Haile Middle School and Freedom elementary school border the area, and single-family homes are priced from the low $300,000s and up.  Just a short trip to downtown
Bradenton.
